Historic visit by Purulia Devotees

Writer: Surajit DasguptaSurajit Dasgupta

March 17, 2025, was a significant day for Nirban Math when disciples from various Ashrams in Purulia, West Bengal, visited. They mainly came from Sidpur Brahmamoyee Ashram, Brahmamoyeenagar Sadhan Kutir Ashram (Manguria), and Fursabab Brahmamoyee Ashram near Lakra. The group was led by Swami Muktinanda and Swami Pabitrananda.

They informed Ms. Debdatta Biswas that only 5 to 6 people would arrive on the 16th, but instead, around 35 disciples came early on the 17th, having hired a bus and traveled overnight.

Many offered donations ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 20.

Hosting about 35 people was an indescribable experience, especially as they all chanted "joy Brahmajna Ma joy, joy Nirban Math joy." Snacks were provided, which everyone enjoyed. The hosting was done by Mr Niladri Bose, the campus supervisor. The pictures and testimonial below attest to the happy and historic occasion.
