As usual, Republic day was celebrated with great aplomb. Below is the opening ceremony video.
For this year, the staff added a new element to the celebrations by having the Balkendra children showcase their dancing talents. Apparently, the staff choreographed the dances with the children by watching YouTube videos and then practicing. Kudos to the children. Following are videos of their performances.
